36 37 and a moment later the deep, stabbing pain hits you. The crew member won’t let go of the screwdriver, so you seize your chance. You push against her hard and after a moment she takes a step backwards. Then another. You need her to take two more. She tries to yank the screwdriver out, but you are pressing yourself close and all she can do is wrench it sideways. The pain from your arm is now overwhelming and fills you with rage and strength. Screaming, you push her hard and she stumbles backwards, falling back into the airlock, taking the screwdriver with her. Kamari had seen what was happening and is ready to hit the button to close the airlock door. The crew member is trapped. “You’re bleeding,” shouts Kamari and grabs their comms. “Sasha! We need a medic down here.” They relay your injury, that the crew is safely back in the airlock, and then grabs a suit patch and holds it down hard on your cut. It hurts but you know it has to be done. “Get out of here, Kamari. You’ve got work to do.” You hit the button to open the door and there is an adult crew member right in front of you. You scream in surprise and Kamari does the same, both of you staggering backwards. The adult starts. There is a look of fear on her face for a moment but that quickly turns to one of rage. She lurches forward out of the airlock, raising her fist into the air. You notice that she is holding a screwdriver. She swings her arm down, aiming at Kamari. You push Kamari down and jump out of the way yourself. The crew member staggers and falls. “Kamari, get out,” you shout. “No, let me help!” They start getting back up. “You have to let me deal with her,” you quickly say. “That screwdriver goes into your suit and we’ll have to start again!” The crew member regains her footing and then lurches towards Kamari, jabbing with the screwdriver like a dagger. You throw yourself in front Kamari throwing up your arm to take the blow. You see the screwdriver puncture your skin
