“My supervisor was showing me something… She 
was right behind me… Then she stopped talking…
She wouldn’t get out of my way... I pushed at her 
and she… she… she went for me… like a dog 
attack… Then Mr Jones jumped on her. I thought 
he was just protecting me… but he’s the same…! 
They’re fighting. THEY’RE FIGHTING. They’re biting 
each other… hang on… they’ve fallen out into the 
corridor….”
“That’s your chance,” Sasha shouts. “Close the door 
and lock it.”
Devon moves and pants for a minute, then says “I 
did it. I can still hear them, but it sounds like they’re 
not trying to get back in. Urgh… there’s blood on 
the floor. It’s horrible, Sasha.”
“It’s ok Devon. Listen everyone, I’m going to tell 
Earth Mission Control what’s happening.”
Over the next couple of minutes, Sasha informs 
Josef about everything that has occurred. He 
looks reassuring and says, “Listen. Can everyone, 
hear me?”
“Yeah. How did you know that?”
Kiran and Skylar join the call, followed quickly by 
Kamari, all talking at once.
“Hey, my supervisor isn’t responding…”
“Any of your guy’s mentors acting weird…?”
“What’s going on? Is this a joke…?”
Sasha shouts “Shut up, all of you!” and then quickly 
turns around, afraid, as Commander Hopper softly 
growls again.
What is going on?
Sasha takes a deep breath but before she can 
speak, Devon comes on the line, looking terrified 
with a sound like fighting dogs in the background.
“They’re crazy! They’re going crazy!”
“What is it?” Sasha replies, trying to sound calm, 
“What’s going on?”
It looks like Devon is running around, eyes darting 
everywhere.
