Chapter 2D
Engineer: Devon
You sit there, staring silently at a small pool 
of blood on the floor. After short while, you 
shake yourself, get up, tip toe to the door of the 
engineering workshop and peek out into the 
corridor through the small window. Mr Jones is 
right outside, staring off at a point in the distance, 
gently swaying from side to side. There is no sign of 
your engineering mentor, Ms Rahman.
You return to the repair bench. Before the fight, 
can ever remember feeling. You stayed calm, you 
adapted and you smashed it. Maggie and 
Mr Wilcoxson will be proud, you think. You turn 
around and head towards the airlock, following 
your own footprints back to base. 
Now, go to page 87, where Chapter 3 
will show you, through the eyes of Sasha 
(the mission controller), how your story 
has fitted in with the others.
